The weight loss
April 14, 2008
So, I think I’m going to keep this as my weight blog, and nicgordon.com as the personal blog. Sound good? good.
So, today for breakfast was 55g of cereal, plus some milk. Good lord. A serving size of cereal is a tad small. But, it was still 230 calories.
Bad start to the day…

but it can only get better, right? I can’t say it was a “bad start” but I did eat 710 calories worth of breakfast. That’ll haunt me later. I’ve been busy doing many many things already this morning, however, and I shall reveal them all to you later.
Not too much later, just NOT NOW. Stop being pushy.
A little glimpse into the start
April 4, 2008
So, while it’s been 3 days on my new regime I haven’t been keeping a very close watch on things. Thats what this blog was started for however, and it’s time to start!
The start: 241.6
Yes, my scale does decimal points.
So there you have it kids. I am THAT fat. Which, is the same weight I was oh, about 10 years ago give or take a pound. Which, I guess is the weight you stay at if you eat like crap and walk around exactly 0% of the time. Ok, maybe not exactly 0% but as little as possible.
A fresh start, for the journey that will be me
April 3, 2008
Hello there. My name is Nic, and if you’re here you already know that. I am turning a new leaf (starting 2 days ago) and I feel like a new place to write whats going on would be nice. So what makes now different from before? Simple, I’m trying to live a much healthier lifestyle. I’m counting calories and I’m trying to be sensible about my weight. Why am I doing this? Because I want to be healthy, and when I eventually have kids, I would like to live long enough to play with them and see them grow. I also want to feel healthier. I think this will go a long way towards that.
So, if you know me, you know I’ll update this only at random times. I’m going to at least try to log here every day what I eat, calorie-wise, so I can keep track. Hopefully, you’ll be around to see me transform to that fat friend you have to the funny guy, who would give you the size medium shirt off his back.
